Jena Ashby grew up in Muncie and graduated from the Social Work Department at Ball State. After 10 years of volunteering and working at A Better Way, Jena came to work at Muncie Habitat for Humanity in 2006 as the Program Director. Since 2018, she has served as the Director of Impact & Programs. This role leads the 8twelve Coalition, a neighborhood revitalization initiative focused in the Thomas Park/Avondale and South Central Neighborhoods on the south side of Muncie and oversees the volunteer and homeowner services programs at Habitat. Jena and her husband Shannon have 2 giant sons who keep getting older even though they don’t!
