Dr. Courtney Jarrett is the Director of Disability Services at Ball State University where she oversees the university’s efforts to provide access and opportunity for over 1200 students with disabilities. She is involved in several professional organizations, including National Student Affairs Association (NASPA), the Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) and is the current president of Indiana AHEAD. She is Affiliate Faculty in Women’s and Gender Studies, teaching several classes at BSU yearly. She has presented at several national conferences, published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals, and authored a textbook in 2016. Dr. Jarrett is an ATHENA Young Professional Award winner, member of Women in Business Unlimited (WIBU), and proud supporter of both the YWCA of Central Indiana and the YMCA of Muncie.
